As the gateway to one of the main entrance points into the Olympic site, the A118 Road in Stratford has been given a makeover with new feature lighting commissioned by Thames Gateway and Design for London, funded from their Olympic budget.

Sunniside lies directly to the east of the city centre of Sunderland. It is an area that has played a key role in Sunderland’s commercial and cultural life over the years, and is currently undergoing a regeneration to breathe new life into its historic streets.

The Waterloo Road District Shopping Scheme leads from Blackpool seafront into the town, forming one of the main routes into Blackpool. The Blackpool Borough Council set out to regenerate this area with the express aim of improving its user-friendliness for pedestrians.
